What to expect

From the first question to a plan that holds.

Allergy care fails when it stops at a prescription. Our pathway is built to find the cause, treat it, and then check that the treatment is actually working.

01
History and examination

We ask when symptoms start, what makes them worse, and what has already been tried.

02
Targeted allergy testing

Skin prick or specific IgE testing, selected to match your history rather than a standard panel.

03
A written treatment plan

Medication, avoidance advice and — where suitable — immunotherapy, explained in plain language.

04
Follow-up and review

We review control at follow-up and adjust the plan, so treatment is not left unmanaged.

Diagnosis & treatment

Testing that changes what we do.

Our laboratory processes samples on site and our pharmacy dispenses prescribed medicine immediately after the consultation. For allergy care that matters: treatment often starts the same day, and vaccine storage has to be reliable.

  • Skin prick and specific IgE testing for common allergens
  • Immunotherapy (desensitisation) for suitable patients
  • Laboratory, pharmacy and vaccination in the same building
  • Clear written results and follow-up appointments
Questions

Before you visit.

The questions our reception team is asked most often.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended so that the right specialist and testing equipment are ready. Walk-in patients are seen where possible, but booking ahead reduces waiting time.

How long does allergy testing take?

Skin prick testing usually takes about 20–30 minutes including the observation period. Blood tests are processed on site, with results reported to your doctor.

Should I stop my antihistamine before testing?

Some antihistamines can affect skin prick results. Please tell the reception team when booking so we can advise you on timing before your visit.

Is immunotherapy available?

Yes. For suitable patients we offer immunotherapy (desensitisation), which reduces sensitivity to allergens over time. Suitability is discussed after testing.

Do you treat children?

Yes. Children and adults are both seen at the centre, and testing is adapted to the age of the patient.

Not sure which service you need?

Call the helpdesk and describe the symptoms. We will point you to the right specialist and branch.
