Laboratory & Pharmacy

A well-equipped laboratory and pharmacy under the same roof — so diagnosis and treatment are not separated by a journey across the city.

Laboratory & Pharmacy at the Afghanistan Allergy Center
Overview

Understanding laboratory & pharmacy.

The centre operates a medical laboratory and a pharmacy alongside its clinics. Samples are handled on site, and prescribed medicines are available immediately after the consultation.

This matters for allergy care, where treatment often starts the same day and where vaccine storage conditions must be reliable.

Signs and symptoms

Patients do not always describe these in clinical language. Any of the following is a reason to be assessed.

  • Blood tests requested during consultation
  • Allergy-related laboratory investigations
  • Prescriptions following a clinic visit
  • Vaccine and allergen extract storage

What causes it

Fragmented care — a test here, a medicine there — delays treatment. Keeping the laboratory and pharmacy on site shortens that path.
