The first allergy centre in Afghanistan.

Established in 1998 and licensed by the Ministry of Public Health, AAC brought allergy diagnosis and treatment home — so that patients no longer have to travel abroad for care.

Our story

Built because the need was already here.

We thank the Creator for creating us as humans among His creatures. The Afghanistan Allergy Diagnostic and Treatment Center is the first centre for allergy diagnosis and treatment in Afghanistan, established by Sadat Mosaddeq and licensed by the Ministry of Public Health on 30 April 1998.

Before AAC, there were no provisions for allergy centres in the regulations of the Ministry of Public Health. Sadat Mosaddeq worked with the health regulatory authority to create a new procedure — one where doctors, vaccinators, nurses and pharmacists could work together in a single, well-equipped facility.

The non-availability of such facilities, and the growing requirement of the people, was the main reason this centre was created. Today a significant number of patients from across Afghanistan visit daily and receive treatment with satisfaction.

Why it matters

Allergy is common. Untreated allergy is the problem.

A healthy, thriving community is a pressing requirement for the preservation of the human race. Conditions like respiratory allergies, chronic cough, chest and lung ailments, sore throats, headaches, skin sensitivities, common colds, hay fever and red eyes are all triggered by sensitivity.

Allergens exist in the environment, and their impact on the body results in sickness and severe reactions. When allergies remain undiagnosed and untreated, they can give rise to substantial medical issues and, in many instances, result in the loss of lives.

AAC addresses this concern through immunotherapy and desensitisation — exposing the body to allergens in a controlled manner — alongside accurate testing and practical avoidance advice.
